We are delighted to welcome back to the Jermyn Street shop, Katie Thomas.
Katie did her placement year with us in 2017-18 while studying for a Business fashion Degree at Nottingham Trent University. She impressed us all so much with her ability and natural sociability, born and brought up in Yorkshire so perhaps not surprising and we were all thrilled that she accepted a full time job with us on completion of her degree.
Katie did her dissertation on The Future of Bespoke Tailoring and graduated this Summer with First Class Honours.
She has been spending time in the Gloucester factory with the pattern makers, cutters and seamstresses to develop her understanding of bespoke having learnt the measuring process in her year at the shop.
Jade and I will be continuing Katie’s training at the shop and she will now be working with us on all bespoke orders.
Our new placement student Amy Bouffler joins us in September, replacing Charlotte Andrews who has been a great addition to the shop this year. Amy is from Scotland but also studying Fashion at Nottingham Trent and is greatly looking forward to her year with us.
We look forward to seeing you in Jermyn Street.
Best wishes, Emma, Jade and Katie.
