Emma Willis has sourced this luxurious quality Swiss cotton and works with their designers to create a wide range of innovative weaves, weights and yarn combinations.

The cotton is Egyptian and brought to Switzerland, where it is spun, yarn dyed and woven. The cotton is woven with cashmere for an unbelievably soft and warm winter weight, linen for a lighter less creasing summer weight or silk for a luxurious cotton / silk mix which can be laundered.

Cotton voile is woven densely to maintain the cool lightness of voile but avoid the transparency. Many shades of one colour can be seen in even a plain cotton, or perhaps two shades of blue are interwoven with pink to give a great depth of colour.

This is achieved by dyeing the yarn before weaving and then combining different shades of the same colour or mixing several colours together.
